Portfolio
I decided to do a portfolio of everything to best express my thoughts and how I have been influences and the conclusions I have for my designs. This way there is a better understanding of the design process and provides more clarity to different aspects of experiment three as a whole.
The Folly
These images of the folly is to show the textures more clearly and also gives an idea of the scale using people as comparisons.

5 Lumion Environment Images
A view of the whole environment; school, bridge, folly and moving elements.
A view from one end of the bridge facing the school.
The integration of the bridge and the school, shown is the workshop.
Shown is one of the Computer Labs where the students are able to appreciate the view of both sides of the valley due to glass replacing the walls.
A closer view of the school, bridge and moving elements.

36 Textures
With my textures beside trying to just relate with movement, I also tried to link some of the textures to the theory I have mashed up; mostly focusing on the nature aspects. So some textures were inspired by natural things such as the wood texture and water droplets.
18 Two Point Perspectives
Words that relates to Arch Comp Theory. I also decided on being more creative on the shading so as to provide more interest and engagement with the perspectives.

Placement Idea
I had a the thought of representing the school positioned at the
center. It having a 360 clear view of the valley. The moving element will serve
as a support of the school (along with the bridge)as well as a vertical circulation from the school to the folly. The folly is surrounded by trees and people will be directly surrounded by nature.

School Plan - Vitra Fire Station
For the school floor plan I decided upon Zaha Hadid's Vitra Fire Station to work as a Section. Hadid as an architect uses computers to construct most of her works as the forms that she produces are quite complex in shapes and requires a lot of geometry. I decided to use this relevance to apply my School Plan, also integrating the sort of space I wanted my school to acquire.
As shown, I have included a bridge part. The bridge passes through the school space and will serve as a bridge that leads to a two way entry and exit, providing more flexibility.
18 One Point Perspectives
A lot of my theories tried to focus on the advancement of technology in regards to architecture and the benefits that comes with this advancement.
Valley - Lumion Terrain
I settled on Jamison Valley as I thought it was the valley that suits the placement of my bridge and how it represents my design as a whole. My hometown doesn't have any valleys due to it's minuscule size and flatness of the land so I decided to pick an Australian valley. Jamison is also a valley that I have seen before and experienced it's surroundings so there is a familiarity with it.
(Jamison has a great amount of trees however Lumion aren't able to show this very well, so some parts look empty, however when you pan in closer in the scenes you are able to see them)

Arch Comp Theory
Part of the theory that I had in mind was influenced by Ito's Sendai Mediatheque ( a case study I did for enabling skills). I found that this design related to Arch Comp with the combination of technology/media with nature.

Final Overall Landform Mini Portfolio
I decided to combine everything to show a clearer picture as well as explain certain point on how I decided to structure my form. I decided to redo some of my axonometrics as I felt that they expressed the concepts more so there are several trail and errors when it came to constructing the landforms.
Experimental Landform
As suggested by Hank, instead of using sketchup I decided to work with 3Ds Max as there are more flexibility when it comes to modeling different shapes and forms. So I did this as an experimentation as well as an extension of my combined forms. I felt that it expressed more of the concepts that I was aiming for when constructing my forms.
5 Scenes
In this scene it shows a front view and displays the electoliquid aggregation between the "porous" inspired rectilinear shape as well as the wrapping curvilinear concept that Andrasek shows in her work bloom.
I like that I integrated the two forms together to make it look like one structure and the notion that the wrapping provides an interesting new perspective to the forms.
The textures I applies on the rectilinear shape are concepts influenced by andrasek while the curvilinear shapes consists of textures with Otto's work in mind. I applied it in this way to produce an interesting contrast as well as further enhancing the electroliquid aggregation that we're trying to achieve between our two chosen architects.

Final Landform and Scenes DL link
The Final Model 2 is my actual submission while the Final Landform is something I experimented with that I thought conveyed the concepts better from Frei Otto as well as Alisa Andrasek since both artists concepts and works gathered to be more curvilinear.

Landform Interests
Found an Article relating to forms and sparked my interests. It shows simplicity in the overall view but brings a variety of different forms.
36 Textures - Light to Dark
When I was drawing up the textures I constantly tried to also connect the texture images to the main concepts I gathered from the two architects we are working from. The net and lattice patterns and the sort of repetitious component.

Axonometric Drawings
There was a few of the axos that I felt didn't express the sort of concept that I wished to express so I decided to experiment more with it through using designing software to model the structures.
Other Influences Connecting to Concept
Toyo Ito - Taichung Opera House
Ito's Opera house serves as a great influence towards the sort of design I want to end up with . The different sort of shapes and curves reminds me of the soap bubbles that Otto was inspired by and it's the sort of concept that I will be mainly focusing on. The flexibility of a soap bubble also fuels the sort of design pathway I wish to achieve.
Concepts Of Frei Otto and Alisa Andrasek

Concepts
1. Bubbles
2. Flexibility
3. Porosity
4. Curve
5. Connection
Concepts
1. Repetition
2.Consistency
3. Interlink
4. Uniformity
5.Variety
Very much of both architects focuses on repetition with components and shapes to form a larger different more complex looking form and structure.

Section Videos
I had quite a lot of problems when I was exporting my video. I tried multiple times to find the problem however I couldn't fix it before it's due. I did end up with wire-frame scenes and due to the restricted time limit I had to settle for these instead which is quite disappointing. I will try to fix this problem that I have so that for future videos it will not turn out like this.
